Story. The story begins 2 years after The Legend of Zelda, the kingdom of Hyrule seems to be at peace, but then the King of Hyrule is eliminated by evil. Ganon's minions are seeking revenge on the one responsible for destroying their master, Link. Ganon's minions need Link's blood in order to revive their master. Then a wizard known as Carock puts a sleeping spell on Princess Zelda, and when that happens, Link discovers the mark of the triforce on the back of his right hand and seeks Impa's help as well as she needs him again. Link discovers that to awake the Princess, he must obtain the third Triforce sealed in the Great Palace, but first he must place crystals in six well guarded castles.
Bosses. There are six different bosses in the game in which the more you progress the difficult they get. The easiest bosses were the Horsehead, Helmethead, and the Iron Knuckle. Hardest bosses were Carock, Gooma (GRRRR! >_< How I hated that jerk!), and there was Thunderbird at the end of the game. To defeat Thunderbird, you need the Thunder technique in order to harm him physically. And after Thunderbird, you get to fight Dark Link himself, in which he would appear in Ocarina of Time. After beating him you get the final Triforce
Music. The music is quite decent but the overworld music gets sinsterly annoying after awhile of playing. The best theme songs in the game were the palace and also the final palace. These theme songs would be rearranged in Super Smash Bros. Melee and Brawl as well.
Characters. Link and Zelda reprise their roles as main characters like always in every Zelda game. What I found cool was Link making the up thrust and down thrust. Ganon appears but only when players are killed and given a Game Over, which marks his return from the dead. There is also a memorable character known as Error, and also there is Bagu who gives a letter to Link in order to cross the Water Town of Saria. Town Elders would give Link special abilities as well
Bad Aspect. I definitely hated the blue Iron Knuckles, Bird Knight, and those flying dragon and horseheads. Any little obstacle flying around the screen, makes the game harder. And the Boss Battles, they are so incredibly hard, especially the Gooma fight, who swings his mace and deals a painful lot of damage. I also hated the fight against Carock, he appears out of nowhere and shoots you all the time. What I also disliked was its own RPG look with EXP points. It was not like Zelda at all. Leave the RPG to Final Fantasy, Lufia and Chrono series. Another bad thing is that you don't use the weapons you get in the other LoZ games.
Good Aspect. I enjoyed seeing Link's up and down techniques which looked kind of awesome. These moves he does them in the Super Smash Bros series. Actually Dark Link made his first appearance in this game and they did a pretty good job with him and his boss battle theme.
Overall. The game could have been unique in its own way. If it was not RPG style, then it would have been a different story to tell with this. This game gets a 5 out of 10
