Plot. A robot villain named King has broken into Dr. Wily's laboratory and then to the Robot Museum, where he collects the data blueprints for the creations of Dr. Light. Dr. Light alerts Mega Man and orders him to go to the Robot Museum and confront this new enemy. Meanwhile, Bass (Mega Man's rival and Wily's creation) discovers the criminal activities of King, and sees this as an opportunity to prove himself superior to Mega Man by defeating King. King's ultimate goal is to create a utopia where robots rule over humans. To accomplish this, using the blueprints he collected, King begins to create a massive army and invites Proto Man to join him. But Proto Man refuses by attacking King, and gets sliced in half in the process. Proto Man then transports back to the lab for repairs while King escapes with the blueprints. Thus both Mega Man and Bass go to stop King. One goes to bring back peace, while the other one to prove his superiority over the blue bomber.
Hey gamers and gamerettes! With the success of my Mega Man X Review, tonight, my next review will be Mega Man & Bass, also known in Japan as Rockman & Forte (Japanese: ロックマン&フォルテ). Mega Man & Bass was originally released in Japan on April 24, 1998 on the Super Famicom, then five years later it came to America on the Game Boy Advance on March 11, 2003. This game in Japan debuted at the time when the 16-bit Super Famicom was dying and the 3D consoles such as PlayStation, Sega Saturn, and Nintendo 64 were increasingly popular at that time. This game is very good and epic, however critics and fans believed that the difficulty of Mega Man & Bass was too steep. Now it's time to review this game with power!

What's happening gamers and gamerettes? Today's game review is the original Mega Man X game for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System and for the Wii Virtual Console. Mega Man X was developed and published by Capcom. Originally released in Japan in December 17, 1993, and then released a month later in 1994. Later re-released as part of Mega Man X Collection for the GameCube, and PlayStation 2 on January 10, 2006. Mega Man X is the second series and a spinoff of the Mega Man franchise, as well as the first game of the series for the SNES. For years, this upgraded blue bomber would fight against rebellious robots known as the Mavericks. This had new gameplay, new features, new heroes, and new villains that would plunge you deep inside the world of Mega Man Unlike it's predecessor Mega Man, the game's storyline had a much more darker tone that would mark the history of the Mega Man X saga and it's many sequels. Mega Man X would later be remade for the PSP and re-titled as Mega Man: Maverick Hunter X. This is one of my favorite SNES games of all time, and Mega Man X is one of my favorite video game heroes long before Cloud Strife, Lara Croft, Master Chief, Altair, and Ezio Auditore ever existed. Time to review this classic game. Plot. Sometime in the 22nd Century, a human scientist named Dr. Cain has found a hidden capsule in an underground lab, and it contained a warning made by the late Dr. Thomas Light. Dr. Cain then decides to remake the design of X thus creating his first "reploid". However, when reploids went mysteriously berserk, they were labeled as Mavericks. A reploid military task force was created to suppress these criminal activities, they were called the Maverick Hunter, and their leader was Sigma. When Sigma went Maverick, the destiny of Mega Man X had begun to unravel. This is the story of the Maverick Hunter named X and his partner Zero. Hello gamers and gamerettes! Today's review is Mega Man 6 for the Nintendo Entertainment System developed and published by Capcom. It is the sixth installment in the Mega Man series of games, and the last one for the Nintendo Entertainment System since the next Mega Man game would go to the Super Nintendo. Originally released in Japan on October 5, 1993 the game made it to America in March 1994. This game was also included in the Mega Man Anniversary Collection in 2004 for the Gamecube and PS2. Mega Man 6 is the sequel to Mega Man 5 and actually better than it's predecessor. This game had new features such as new Rush adaptors for Mega Man, as well as returning characters, new Robot Masters and also a new villain. Although, Mega Man 6 was criticized for the lack of originality, particularly regarding with it's plot. Gamespot editors Christian Nutt and Justin Speer labeled Mega Man 6 the "cheesiest" among the NES titles. Plot. The "Robot Masters Tournament" is being held in order to test the designing capabilities of the world's greatest robotic engineers. The tournament is hosted by "Mr. X" and many strong robot masters are participating. Dr. Light, a pacifist, has no intention to join the tournament but suspecting something, he sends the robotic hero Mega Man to supervise it. Mega Man springs into action to spoil the plans of Mr. X First they cancel Mega Man Legends 3 and now, they want to distance Resident Evil from survival horror. I gotta tell you one thing, the people at Capcom were never really smart! According to a Capcom producer, he said that there needs to be "an extension of the changes made in Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5." Masachika Kawata, producer of Resident Evil Revelations said about moving away from survival horror the following: "Especially for the North American market, I think the series needs to head in that [action-oriented] direction," Kawata said. "[Resident Evil's primary games] need to be an extension of the changes made in Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5. "RE4 started in that direction, and RE5 kept going in that direction. And I think that, especially for the North American market, we need to keep going in that direction and take it a step further. And that's exactly one of the reasons that Revelations is the way it is."
Also, they want to make it action based like Call of Duty. CAPCOM! WHAT THE &%^$ ARE YOU ON?! Damn! First they give rights for Street Fighter and Resident Evil movies to Hollywood, then they cancel Mega Man Legends 3, and now they want to mess up one of my favorite horror franchises by making it action oriented. This is it! My respect for Capcom has totally reached it's downfall. I'm through with Capcom and I'm not looking forward to their future games. God Bless and Play Hard Gamers! And Capcom, YOU SUCK! Greetings gamers and gamerettes! Back again with yet another retro review, and taking you back to the past where some games rock, some games are average, and some of them suck. Well, today's review is Paperboy for the Nintendo Entertainment System. Paperboy was developed by Atari Games and published by Elite System and Mind Scape. The game was first released in the Arcades in 1984, and it's success spawned home versions such as Commodore 64, ZX Spectrum, and even Nintendo got into the action. Paperboy is one of my most cherished and memorable childhood games that I have played. I remember when my father bought me the game when I was about 4 years old. This is one of those long forgotten video games, and it's finally my pleasure to review this classic game. However, it is one of the most entertaining, yet challenging games of all time. It is fun to play, enjoy, and you can also play for 2 players in which you can play with friends or a family member. Unfortunately this game never made it to the Wii Virtual Console. Gameplay. Players take control of a newspaper delivery boy, and must deliver the Daily Sun newspapers to the subscribers in a suburban neighborhood. Players carry ten newspapers in which they can throw it to the white, yellow, and blue houses they pass by while avoiding obstacles such as dogs, skateboarders, tornadoes, angry neighbors, drunks, construction workers, grass cutters, and so on. Players must even avoid bizarre obstacles such as tornadoes and even the Grim Reaper himself. When players make a perfect delivery, there will be a new subscriber. But if they damage or even miss a house, players will lose customers. Players lose a life when they crash, and if all customers cancel their subscription, the game is over. Hey gamers and gamerettes! Telltale Games is the developer for the game and will be released for the PlayStation 3, PC, and Xbox 360. The Walking Dead Kanemoto will offer players the chance to experience the first days of the zombie epidemic which intersects with the comic book series. Enjoy to your heart's content.
God Bless and Play Hard Gamers! What's happening gamers and gamerettes! Ninja Gaiden 3 has just come out, and also it will be coming out on the Wii U sometime this 2012. This one will be a great game, since I have been playing Ninja Gaiden in the days of the NES. Now, this is the diary of the game developers of Ninja Gaiden 3. Enjoy!
God Bless and Play Hard Gamers! What's happening gamers and gamerettes! Today's review is Mega Man 5 developed and published by Capcom and released on December 1992 on the Nintendo Entertainment System, and re-released June 16, 2011 on the Wii Virtual Console in North America. Mega Man 5 is the fifth installment in the Mega Man series, and features returning gameplay methods, characters and more. However, the game's reviews were from mixed to positive due to it's lack of originality in plot and gameplay. However, there is another new character named Beat, in which marks his debut into the series. There are also new Robot Masters as usual, and new stages and upgrades as well. This is one of the final games in the Mega Man series to be on the NES, since Mega Man 7 went to the Super Nintendo. Plot. Two months have passed since the defeat of Dr. Wily at the hands of Mega Man in the events of Mega Man 4. Proto Man, brother and ally to the blue bomber goes on the rampage with eight robot masters, and in the process he captures his creator Dr. Light. Mega Man once again sets out to save his creator and stop his brother from destroying everything. Hey gamers and gamerettes! Just came back from watching tonight's bold episode of Spartacus. Okay, so here is where I inform my next Let's Play on YouTube. The next Let's Play will be Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City. Also, making walkthroughs with commentary is fun, at least you can add some comedy in it. Hopefully this will be my first Platinum Trophy on my PS3.
Don't get me wrong, never got a platinum, because I have a personal life and I work. But hopefully it will be my first. If anyone wants to play with me in team or the kickass of a lifetime I give (tee hee!) the name on my PSN is TheNewEmphinix. Same as the one in YouTube. And remember, Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City will be released in four days. God Bless and Play Hard Gamers! Hello gamers and gamerettes! With the release of Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition, tonight's review is Mortal Kombat 9 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. MK9 was developed by NetherRealm Studios and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. Originally released on April 19, 2011 and then almost a year after it's release, the PlayStation Vita version is set to be released on April 2012. Mortal Kombat was well received by fans and critics shortly after it's release which sold over millions of copies and featured new graphics, new worlds, as well as the old ones of the classic MK games. This game also has various DLC's as well such as; Kenshi, Cyber Sub-Zero, Skarlet, and everyone's favorite nightmare boogeyman Freddy Krueger. Plot. Following the events of Mortal Kombat Armageddon, the forces of good and evil have all been wiped out. Only Raiden remains but is defeated by Shao Kahn. Just as Kahn is about to deliver the final blow, Raiden sends a message to his earlier self saying, it is He Who Must Win. Then we flashback to the events of Mortal Kombat 1, where Raiden experiences a premonition from a cracked amulet, and must now change the course of events that will come to fruition. |
