Now that I am almost done writing it and finished the introduction. I will start working with making the video and commentary of the retrospective. So that is all for today.

What's happening gamers! Today's news is the announcement of the Final Fantasy Retrospective that I am working on. Final Fantasy has become since it's release one of the most loved and respected Role-Playing Games of all time. And this retrospective will talk about the history of the games, as well as the rise and fall of the franchise. I do this not only because I'm a very big fan of Final Fantasy since I played Final Fantasy VII, but also for all of us Final Fantasy fans who anxiously await Final Fantasy Versus XIII and while others continue to beg for a remake of Final Fantasy VII. Now that I am almost done writing it and finished the introduction. I will start working with making the video and commentary of the retrospective. So that is all for today. God Bless and Play Hard Gamers!

Gamers! Welcome to Power Stone World Review! This game was developed and published by Capcom, originally released in 1999 as an Arcade game, and in the following year on the short-lived Sega Dreamcast on that same year. Power Stone is a 3D arena fighting game which became very popular that it also spawned an anime TV series that had only about 26 episodes. This game featured ten playable characters, and has a unique type of battle system that is not 2D unlike other games like Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, and Killer Instinct, allowing players to enjoy the awesome fight immensely. Power Stone is one of Sega's forgotten games, and luckily, old players rejoiced as this game out on the PSP as part of the Power Stone Collection alongside its sequel, Power Stone 2. Plot. In the 19th Century, strong believers of legends, myth, and superstition search for fame, fortune and glory. There is one legend above many, a treasure that makes any dream come true. Believers from all over the world set out on a fateful journey across the globe to find this treasure, and they are also forced to fight one another in pursuit of the legendary treasure known as, the Power Stone. What's happening gamers? It turns out that Kotaku was lying about Final Fantasy Versus XIII's cancellation after all. I can't believe that most of us gamers including myself had fallen for such fallacies! Like my father once said, "Don't believe everything you read sometimes". A lot of people have told me it was not cancelled, and to tell the truth I just can't believe how many including myself have fallen for Kotaku's bullshit! A Senior US Editor, Erren Van Duine Square Enix resourceful source was awared and respond to the rumor that Final Fantasy Versus XIII is alive and it will be shown at this year’s Tokyo Game Show. And this game BETTER be present at the TGS 2012. For those who believed it on my last article, I'm sorry. Well, mainly I read the article on IGN about it, but it turns out that Kotaku as I was told just pisses people off with false rumors. For a moment, I thought Square-Enix would become another Capcom. That is all for today. God Bless and Play Hard Gamers! What's happening gamers? I got some bad news that I have read from a report at IGN.com. The long awaited game Final Fantasy Versus XIII announced since 2006, has been cancelled. Kotaku also said that the game has been canned by Square-Enix for some time after it hasn't been seen neither at E3 or the Tokyo Game Show for that matter. According to IGN: "The company has allegedly made the decision to let the game fade away rather than officially announce its cancellation due to concerns over stock prices. There has been much speculation over the past year that the writing was on the wall after the title was conspicuously absent from conventions." Final Fantasy Versus XIII was announced as part of the Fabula Nova Crystallis series of games which included Final Fantasy XIII, Type-0, and XIII-2. Square-Enix has no comment on the issue of the game, and Nomura saying that we should remain calm. The problem of why it could be cancelled it's because most likely working on sequels to Final Fantasy XIII, with the MMORPG XIV damaging the series reputation it is obvious that Versus XIII, which I have been waiting for so long has been cancelled. In my opinion, this really sucks that a game that looked incredibly awesome and the storyline sounding very interesting has been canned by Square-Enix. Square-Enix has just become another Capcom to me. Final Fantasy XIII-3 will be announced probably on September 1st, 2012. God Bless and Play Hard Gamers! What's up gamers? Now we all saw Comic-Con and how many games and movies are gonna kick ass and some of how doubtful we are of how successful they are going to be. So, my reaction for Comic-Con this year is positive with Sony games as well as those made by Ubisoft and EA. Now in terms of movies coming next year and in 2014, we have many superhero movies such as Captain America 2, Thor 2, and even Ant-Man. We also had views of the Superman Movie and also the upcoming television show Green Arrow, which looks like a follow-up to the successful Smallville. Sony seems to be soaring this year more than Microsoft, which according to a friend of mine, Microsoft is just losing the spark it had from 2006 up to late 2011. For Microsoft we have the Gears of War prequel, which of course will seem repetitive, but with great gameplay and storyline nevertheless. Sony on it's part had been soaring with games such as Assassin's Creed 3, The Last of Us, Beyond: Two Souls, PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale and more. Ubisoft is soaring with Assassin's Creed 3, but a new project is on the way, based on one of my favorite television shows ever; Spartacus: Legends. Spartacus: Legends is a fighting game based on the Starz television show of the same name. Well, lets see wjat's gonna happen, because I truly enjoyed Comic-Con this year, and also I liked the announcement of new shows and seasons like Green Arrow, Bones, Dexter, and so on. God Bless and Play Hard Gamers! Latest news for all you Legend of Zelda fans out there. There is now a Legend of Zelda anime in the works which will be adapted from Akira Himekawa's manga. Vic Mignogna of the Dragon Ball Z and Fullmetal Alchemist series, among others will be contributing to do the voice work in the anime. This is actually very exciting to hear, not only they are working on an anime adaptation, but also they have managed to recruit known talent for it. I could not be more excited about the news as many other Zelda fans are. Well, this is excellent news, and I certainly hope that the anime doesn't have stupid lines like the one's you've seen in the 1989 cartoon adaptation of Zelda, and also the CD-i crappy games that you've seen. Speaking of the 1989 cartoon, I especially hope that Link doesn't be as stupid as he is in that cartoon, and always whining these words: "Excuuuuuuuuuuse me, princess!". Well, let's just see what happens once the anime comes out. God Bless and Play Hard Gamers! As Resident Evil 6 draws near, we got more good news. The long awaited CGI movie sequel to Resident Evil: Degeneration is finally coming to Blu-Ray and DVD. This movie is Resident Evil: Damnation, and will feature the return of Leon S. Kennedy, new characters, and familiar faces returning. The film will be directed by Makoto Kamiya and produced by Hiroyuki Kobayashi. And the movie's release is October 27, 2012.
The Last of Us was announced at the end of 2011 during the Spike Video Game Awards. Then it was given multiple awards at E3, being one of Sony's most anticipating titles alongside Assassin's Creed III, Beyond Two Souls, and so on. This game is looking so great and the story is so original for a post-apocalypse video game, further distancing itself from typical zombie apocalypse, saving princesses, and more. The Last of Us is expected to be released this 2013 on the PlayStation 3.
The new Lara Croft, Camilla Luddington, stops by to talk about her role in the upcoming Tomb Raider game. The next game will have some role-playing elements and will explore the gritty origins of the sexy archeologist-adventuress of the game.
The hype for Assassin's Creed III continues at Comic-Con 2012, here is a video where Gamespot Senior Editor Giancarlo Varanini and Editor Carolyn Petit sharing their thoughts on the upcoming installment in the Assassin's Creed franchise.
