As long as Capcom makes it survival horror, I'm cool with it. Let's just hope they don't screw it up this time just so they can make it like Call of Duty. As for Operation Raccoon City, it was more like Gears of War. I hated how Capcom made Resident Evil like Gears of War and Call of Duty distancing from survival horror just to appeal to American gamers.

What's happening gamers! Today's talk involves about Resident Evil. I played the demo of Resident Evil 6 and the game itself at my cousin's house, and to tell the truth, I did not like this one as much as 5. Most reviews I've seen were mixed not only from critics but fans of the saga as well. Yesterday I heard a few gamers rant about this game when playing as either Chris, Leon, or Jake during a window shopping at GameStop. My opinion is that Resident Evil started to fall down the drain when Paul W.S. Anderson made the live action movies. Surely the movies had the creatures, the characters, Umbrella, and the only one that was more like the game was Resident Evil: Apocalypse since of course they had Jill, Nemesis, Carlos and Nicholai. However, some people told me that the Alice character is cool, well, I suppose in some ways she actually is, but I just hated that Matrix and kung fu bullshit they added in the movies, that all of a sudden it started to be seen in the games. Well, however, Code Veronica X had awesome action sequences and fight scenes between Chris and Wesker that seemed to be a little bit Matrix-like, but at least unlike the movies the developers did not exceeded themselves with that. To me, basically, Paul W.S. Anderson butchered Resident Evil and it is no wonder that the series is not scary as it used to be, when you played this game at night and you would crap in your pants never knowing what zombie or monster lied ahead. I agreed with my cousin saying that if only Capcom looks at the example of EA and Visceral Games of how they made Dead Space, Resident Evil would STILL be scary. What I hate most about Capcom, is that they decided to make this game series Call of Duty style to appeal to American audiences. That is the stupidest @#$%&* idea I have ever heard. A quote from Raiden in MK9: "The Lin Kuei have a reputation of making ruinous choices". Well, Capcom has had a knack of making ruinous choices as well; handing movie rights for Resident Evil and Street Fighter to Hollywood, making Resident Evil action based, overworking Yoshinori Ono, and even going so far to kill Mega Man by cancelling Mega Man Legends 3. My point is that Resident Evil needs a reboot, so it can be just as scary as it was back in the old days. Capcom should take their heads out of their asses, and stop making ruinous decisions. We veteran fans of Resident Evil would love to have that scary feeling again, eerie music and theme songs that would make you shit your pants whenever playing this game all alone at night. God Bless and Play Hard Gamers! What's happening gamers! Today's news involve my thoughts of New York Comic Con 2012. It was a great experience for me since it was the very first time I went to NYCC, since I have met some of the greatest comic book artists, writers, and creators. And I also had the privilege to meet MoChocolate from The Tester Season 2 and I really loved to see some other movie stars such as Tom Felton, Phil LaMarr, Lou Ferrigno, Burt Ward, Adam West, Christopher Lloyd, Bill Paxton and also MMPR star Jason David Frank. Most of the cosplayers were very cool, very nice, and the ladies were very sexy too in their costumes of many video games, anime, and comic book characters. I managed to see a few panels, but unfortunately I could not get to see the panel of The Walking Dead. The panels of The Dark Knight Returns Part 2 was a really good one, I enjoyed the trailer and seeing Bruce Timm and Andrea Romano in person was an incredible experience. I have admired Bruce Timm's work since Batman: The Animated Series, Superman, Justice League and many of the movies he produced for the DC Animated Universe. Timm really knows what he does when he works with animated series and movies of the DC Comics Universe. In gaming, I had the chance to play many PSVita Games, as well as finally get to play PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, and also watching a screening of the upcoming Ubisoft hit game, Assassin's Creed III. Assassin's Creed III, looks really good as you have new moves, a new storyline that takes place in America during the war for independence, since of course, the Ezio Trilogy has finally come to it's conclusion. Assassin's Creed III is coming October 30, and PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale comes this November 20th. One thing in terms of cosplaying that I was not surprised to see was that many were Captain America and the Avengers because of the movie this year, as well as many Batman characters as well. The Power Rangers were present most of the time as well, and I believe that Jason David Frank was there to help promote the upcoming Power Rangers: Mega Force. This year's Comic Con was without a doubt one of the best I have been to of many more to come. On my YouTube you can see me interviewing some comic book writers and artists. It was a fun experience, and I want to go again next year and this time I could be cosplaying as Squall from Final Fantasy VIII or any other game or anime character instead of superheroes. On Sunday after the NYCC I had the opportunity to watch one of my favorite shows ever, The Walking Dead, now in it's intense third season. That is all I have to say about my experiences at New York Comic Con 2012, I hopefully will be going there next year. Thanks everyone. God Bless and Play Hard Gamers! What's happening gamers? Today's news is a look at the upcoming Ubisoft fighting game, Spartacus: Legends. With the final season "War of the Damned" approaching, here is an interview with cast members Liam McIntyre (Spartacus) and Manu Bennett (Crixus). I hope the next season rocks the house as much as Vengeance did, although it is not the same without Andy Whitfield, the show still kicks so much ass. Spartacus: Legends will come out this Winter 2013 for PlayStation Network and Xbox Live. Although, most awaiting gamers are complaning that this game is not coming for PC unfortunately.
God Bless and Play Hard Gamers! Hawkeye ain't got nothing on Green Arrow. This game is gonna kick so much ass, and I can't wait to see how many heroes and villains will duke it out in this game created by Netherrealm Studios.
God Bless and Play Hard Gamers! I cannot believe this man. First the PETA attacked Mario last year for wearing a Raccoon suit and becoming Tanooki Mario which enabled him to fly and turn into a statue. Now, they attack Pokemon. Geez! They're so freaking stupid sometimes. If we lived in either Johto, Kanto or any other country in Pokemon, I would use my Pokemon to shut them all up.
God Bless and Play Hard Gamers! What's happening gamers? Today's video game review is Resistance 2 for the PlayStation 3. This game is the sequel to Resistance: Fall of Man and features the return of Nathan Hale as the main character of the game. The game was originally released on November 4, 2008 and developed by Insomniac Games and published by Sony. Resistance 2 features the same gameplay elements of the first game, but it also has an online co-op campaign and multiplayer as well. However, if you think the first game was hard, just wait until you play this one. It's much tougher, especially in the Hardest difficulty. This game does not takes place in Europe but in the good old US of A. Now before this is said and done it's time to review this game so that I may teach you how to tame the beast, that is Resistance 2 once and for all. Plot. After destroying the Chimera tower in London in 1951, Nathan Hale is extracted by the SRPA (Special Research Projects Administration) in a VTOL aircraft. Upon the arrival at the SRPA base in Iceland, they find it under attack by the Chimeran forces. Their VTOL is shot down by a Chimera Goliath and only Hale and Major Richard Blake of the SRPA survive. As the two make their way to safety, they encounter and unknowingly unleash Daedalus, an incredibly powerful Chimeran creature that is apparently controlling the Chimera Army. Hale and Blake find Russian scientist Fyodor Malikov who has been working with the SRPA investigating the Chimeran virus, and are able to safely extract him to America before the Chimera overrun the base. Two years later, the United States of America is invaded by the Chimera, and so Hale along with a select few soldiers fight to free the country, unfortunately, Hale is becoming what he hates most....a Chimera. |
