The appearance of Kratos was a great addition to the game, and he is still voiced by T.C. Carson, who voices him in the God of War video games, and he still has that ruthless and bad ass ego of his. Now, I like this game, but there are some things that I don't like about it in which I'm about to explain. I like the Soul Calibur series and my current favorite is the fourth game because it has Yoda, Darth Vader, and The Apprentice, but problem is that it lacks a story.
The game features 28 playable characters from the old SC games, and it features two new characters: Dampierre, and guest character, Kratos, from the God of War series. The game also features stages from Soul Calibur IV, except the stages from Star Wars, but it features the Isle of Creation from God of War II.
Design. There are CGI sequences only in the game's intro, but the in-game graphics resemble those of a PlayStation 2 design.
Rantings. The problem I have with this game is that you can't play Versus against the computer and only online. Also, I did not like The Gauntlet, because it's mostly tutorial, and the game continues to lack a story.
Good Aspects. The game has moderate replay value and it's fun to play. Also, I really liked the inclusion of Kratos in the game.
Overall. SC: Broken Destiny gets a 6 out of 10
