According to IGN: Ellis' complaints were in response to an image of a specific character called Quiet, a sniper character revealed at E3 who will play a prominent role in The Phantom Pain. This reveal followed a series of tweets by Metal Gear creator Hideo Kojima, in which he said that he encouraged art director Yoji Shinkawa to make characters appear more "erotic."
Kojima has since contextualized his comments, saying "erotic" wasn't the right word, and that he meant more along the lines of "sexy." Check out the image in question below. Do you agree? Is Quiet's revealing design too much?
I tell you one thing, I was a fan of Halo until Halo 2, but now, this guy has crossed the line. To me, Metal Gear Solid surpasses Halo, I don't care what those damn fanboys think with their fancy graphics and multiplayer richness, there is no way that Halo will beat Metal Gear. What does Halo have other than shooting Floods, Covenants and Prometheans? Well I'll admit that while it has quite a good story, it should have stopped after Fall of Reach, because it gets so damn repetitive. While MGS, while the gameplay is tactical espionage, you actually don't need to be killing all the time, you can sneak around and knock enemies unconscious.
Metal Gear Solid games have the best storylines than any other video game I have played in history. Halo is just shooting people all over the plays, just like almost EVERY FPS game that I played. While the Metal Gear franchise is not only killing, but sneaking and thinking on how to avoid enemy alert with your tactical stealth skills. So, 343 Studios, SHUT UP! SHUT YOUR FLIPPING MOUTH!
God Bless and Play Hard Gamers!
