I am really pleased to hear Twitter’s opinion, because since the first episode on SNES many games have been made but the series has little evolved.
I thought people had grown weary of it. I’d like to say: Thank you very much and try to wait by playing Nintendo Land’s F-Zero minigame.
I am also very curious and I’d like to ask those people: Why F-Zero? What do you want that we haven’t done before?
Well, I sincerely hope that the WiiU has an F-Zero game, which was something that the Nintendo Wii, DS and 3DS were lacking. I mean, in the 3DS they brought back Ocarina of Time and Star Fox remastered, but F-Zero definitely needs a comeback. The last F-Zero game was Climax, a sequel to GP Legend which was on the Game Boy Advance, but unreleased in the USA. So, F-Zero fans, keep your fingers crossed, because the WiiU so far is looking more godlike than it's predecessor.
Merceron stated that, as Square Enix president, Yoichi Wada, mentioned earlier in the year, the “product is underway” and that the level of ambition is making Versus XIII a very complex project in its realization.“However, Yoichi Wada is pushing this team and project as far as possible,” Merceron says, adding that fans will be happy to have waited once more information on the game is announced.
On the subject of the upcoming Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII, Merceron says that in terms of the technology being used to develop the game, it shares a few things in common with Final Fantasy Versus XIII. However, the game itself is meant to be rather different, although it will use certain elements of Final Fantasy XIII’s design and gameplay.
Well, at least we hear some news about Versus XIII and it's a relief that is still underway, after the outrage of many fans of the game not being present neither at E3 and Tokyo Game Show 2012, there is another reason to keep our fingers crossed and for the game to come out before the next PlayStation console is released, or if it is at that time. We have been waiting for six long years, and if they cancel this game, Square Enix is dead and so is Kingdom Hearts III.
Ok gamers, that is all for today and my prayers go once again to those who lost friends and loved ones in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.
God Bless and Play Hard Gamers!
