Plot. The story of Metroid begins when Samus arrives on Planet Zebes to face the Space Pirates, an evil alien race led by Ridley and Mother Brain to wreak havoc in the universe. The Federation sends the bounty hunter on a mission to eliminate all hostiles on Zebes, destroy the Metroids and defeat Mother Brain. After completing her task, she is ambushed and crashes back to the planet, and so an adventure of survival, and danger begins.
Concept. The purpose of the game is to take the role of Samus Aran, and guide her throughout the cavernous areas and the surface of Zebes in the beginning, battling many enemies on the way. There are new mini-bosses before the respective bosses of Norfair and Brinstar. Then in Tourian, you face with Mother Brain, and after defeating her, you get to another area in Zebes, the Space Pirate Mothership to Chozodia and obtain your more powerful suit yet.
Music. The music from the original game has been modified and very improved. If Gunpei Yokoi was still alive he would be more than excited to hear this and see this game remade. Samus' theme is now modified as so is the many underground worlds of Zebes such as Kraid's world, Ridley's world and also hearing music from the Crateria from Super Metroid
Rantings. My rantings are the Metroids of course. They're highly annoying and they can drain your energy faster than a speeding bullet. Also I actually did not like the Reos like in the original game, those things really pissed me off as well. The sneaking mission part is actually a bother and a nerve-wrecking part as well.
Good Aspect. The remake is actually a great game and re-enactment of a classic. The expansion was very well made, and also liked some of those motion-comic like scenes in the game.
Overall 10/10: Metroid: Zero Mission is something for fans to enjoy. Although it will be some hard to some beginners for sure they will or have enjoyed this remade classic
