Plot. Taking place where the movie ends, Tony is able to detect his killer and shoots him. He then escapes through a secret passageway in the mansion. After his escape, Tony regrets everything he did which caused the deaths of his beloved sister Gina, his mother, his friends and also killing his best pal Manny. He then swears revenge on Alejandro Sosa for taking everything he had. Three months later, Tony Montana sets himself on a quest to rebuild his empire and his reputation. He must go through Miami, The Bahamas and finally Bolivia to take down Alejandro Sosa. But before he does he must fight vengeful enemies such as, Gaspar Gomez, Nacho Contreras and the Diaz Brothers.
Music. The game has suspenseful themes like in the movie. And also you can listen to all kinds of music, including the soundtrack songs of the movie which are performed by Elizabeth Daily, Amy Holland, Giorgio Moroder and so on. Oh, and a flashback to the movie is that you listen to the soundtrack songs while dancing and pimpin' it at the famous Babylon Club in Downtown Miami.
History. Scarface: The World is Yours is a quasi-sequel to the 1983 movie starring Al Pacino, Steven Bauer, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Robert Loggia. In this game some actors of the movie make a return, some voice footage from the movie is heard. Robert Loggia plays a part as narrator of the game although there is some footage of him at the intro when he was the treacherous swine Frank Lopez. Andre Sogliuzzo plays the voice of Tony Montana since Al Pacino did not sound too good after years of chain smoking. There is also an RPG-like version of Scarface for the PSP. It is called: Scarface: Money, Power, Respect.
Bad Aspect. I hated doing deals at the Islands, because then when you're taking the drugs to one of your warehouses, pirates would come out of nowhere to attack you. I also disliked the fact that Al Pacino was not Montana once again, but Andre Sogliuzzo did a good job anyways. Why three weapons and not a lot like in GTA? Come on! They could have done better than that. Paul Shenar who originally plays Alejandro Sosa died of AIDS in the late 80's. Who is the voice actor? Everybody wants to know! Paying Gang and Cop Heats was a waste of money as well. Sometimes I hated it when properties were badly damaged by the Colombians while dealing
Good Aspect. This game is very well designed and Tony Montana looks better than ever and he wears some outfits that were in the movie. The vehicles were very cool as well and I also loved the music which was similar to the movie. The soundtrack was a good addition to the game as well.
Overall. Scarface: The World is Yours is a good game and a good sequel to the movie, in which it should have happened. So my final score is an 7/10
