God Bless and Enjoy The Show!
What's happening people? The Flash premiered last night and I really, really, REALLY enjoyed it so much that I want to see more and can't wait for next week. So welcome to my review of The Flash Episode #1 - City of Heroes. Many of us who wished for a Flash TV series to happen, well, looks like our dreams and prayers came true. The series is written by Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg and Geoff Johns. Now I'm going to try to keep this as spoiler free as I can because as you all know, this is the pilot episode after all. StoryWhen Barry Allen was 11 years old, his mother was killed in a terrifying and bizarre incident, and his father was wrongfully accused for the crime. Barry was taken in by his best friend's father, Joe West. Years later, Barry Allen grew up to become a crime scene investigator for Central City PD. His determination is to uncover the truth about his mother's death leads him up to unexplained urban legends and scientific advancement that cuts along. One night, STAR Labs presents a particle accelerator for the city's advancement in power and medicine. Suddenly, a freak storm occurs and Barry is hit by lightning. Nine months later after a coma, Barry wakes up fine, but with a powerful gift. Thoughts about itI really loved the acting, special effects, casting and writing. It was a perfect beginning of a great show. Geoff Johns never ceases to amaze me with making all these awesome stories aside from comics. Grant Gustin looks like after all he was fit to play The Flash and he does a great job at it. Now, for what I can tell, The Flash is gonna be an awesome show to watch, and all I can say is, my faith in TV is restored with these brand new awesome shows that look great to watch and enjoy. ConclusionSince it's the first episode, I intend to keep it short and sweet. The Flash pilot was a great beginning, real close to the comics and hopefully we can get to see more. If you haven't seen the first episode, you can watch the re-run tonight after the season premiere of Arrow.
My final score for The Flash Episode 1 is an A+ God Bless and Enjoy The Show!
