Plot. Story begins two years after the Battle of New York, Steve Rogers is now living in Washington D.C. and is working for S.H.I.E.L.D while he is adjusting to the 21st Century. But soon, he'll have to fight a new threat against S.H.I.E.L.D and against a new enemy known only as "The Winter Soldier". While the origins of The Winter Soldier are not known, the threat of HYDRA from S.H.I.E.L.D is. Captain America must once again fight the organization he battled against during World War II.
Development. Screenwriters Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely said in April 2011 that they had begun writing a sequel for Marvel Studios. In a June 2011 interview, McFeely said, "The story will likely be in the present day. We're experimenting with flashback elements for more period World War II stuff. I can't say much more than that but we made it baggy enough to refer to more stories in the past". McFeely later revealed that 98% of the shooting script takes place in the present day, and that the first few months of writing were a back and forth process with Marvel, but that after an outline was finished, the story didn't change much.[50] Markus and McFeely wanted to adapt Ed Brubaker's Winter Soldier storyline from the comics, but it took them six months to convince themselves that they could do it.
Thoughts. The movie was very awesome, I loved the story, the action and the developing of the characters and the special effects as well. I was happy to see the Falcon kick some ass as well. There are also various moments that were actually funny and others that were like gut-wrenching, even lots of surprises that I will not say what happened in the movie. If you haven't seen the movie yet, I suggest you all go to see it, because I am not saying the whole story. In terms of movies about Marvel and DC superheroes, personally, Marvel has much better storylines and awesome casting, although some past Marvel movies were pretty lame such as Daredevil and Elektra.
Conclusion. I think this movie was really good, the story was well made and action sequences are very well choreographed. The Russo brothers did an awesome job in the directing and Henry Jackman's composing of music was just right for the film. My final score for Captain America: The Winter Soldier is an A+.
God Bless and Enjoy The Show!
