A spokesperson told Eurogamer the following: "We're not aware of any surveillance activity. If it has occurred as reported, it certainly wasn't done with our consent."
Now this takes me back to Justin Carter, a player of League of Legends who was arrested for making a "threatening comment" on Facebook. Yeah, deny that again that the government is snooping on ever gamer man, woman and child both on the Internet and now the gaming community. It's like the government is paranoid to whatever people are saying on Facebook, or on Xbox Live or PSN or League of Legends, Runescape, and World of Warcraft. Now I'm not a guy who's big on WoW, LoL and RS, but this is just beyond an outrage.
Now I understand that the comment he made was not cool, but still arresting him thinking that he's really gonna do it goes very far. Even Blizzard Entertainment denied any snooping activity of the NSA because of "lack of evidence". Well, Microsoft and Blizzard in my opinion are lying, because, what if they're secretly allowing the NSA do the snooping on the PSN?
You know, there is no freedom in this country anymore because of a bunch of morons spying on people's privacy acting like if they were James Bond or something? When Justin Carter got arrested, it was someone who tracked down his address and have the police arrest him because of a sarcastic comment. He was not going to do it for real. You can't make sarcasm anymore? Damn! Now to the government, the NSA and the media, everyone could be a fucking terrorist!
So my fellow gamers, be careful. They won't leave us alone!
God bless and Play Hard Gamers!
