As reported on Joystiq, the Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot noted on the recent earnings of the company call that the multiplatform Assassin's Creed III has shipped 12 million units while the PlayStation Vita's recent earnings on Assassin's Creed III: Liberation has shipped close to 600,000 units.
"In financial 2014, we will introduce an all-new Assassin's Creed hero, within an all-new team and time period, and we expect it to be another major leap forward for the franchise," said Guillemot on the call. "It is the benefit of multiple teams, working on multiple chapters of the brand, each getting several years to make their versions of an Assassin's Creed game."
