Additionally, Tabata also indicated that Square Enix are still considering bringing Final Fantasy Type-0, the PSP game which Agito is a spin-off of, to the west in some form. While he wouldn’t offer any guarantees, Tabata said that fan enthusiasm for the game has renewed Square Enix’s interest in bringing the game overseas.
And that is something that Square-Enix should have done in the first place when it was released, but unfortunately at the time Type-0 was released in Japan. Here in the US, gamers were anticipating the PlayStation Vita, making it more difficult to localize Type-0. We all know that both Final Fantasy Agito and Type-0 are set in the Fabula Nova Crystallis (New Tale of the Crystals) universe, where the other games such as XIII, XIII-2, Lightning Returns and XV are there.
Well, let's see what happens in the future IF Final Fantasy Type-0 is localized for the USA. I sincerely hope so my friends.
"We're still pushing through on that.. The script is in a good place, we're just kind of figuring out the budget and locations and that whole process is where we're at."
Well, we all know that there were two live action MK movies back in the 1990s. The first one was definitely the best because it had an awesome storyline that was faithful to the games, making it more based on Mortal Kombat 1 and 2, but the second one Annihilation was a different story because, the story was kind of rushed and the acting was horrid and the script was terrible. I also remember a live action tv series of Mortal Kombat that was titled "Mortal Kombat: Conquest", starring Paolo Montalban and Kristanna Loken, which unfortunately lasted only one season. But still it was a cool one.
Let's see what happens in the future about the movie.
God Bless and Play Hard Gamers!
