Most critics consider this game a redefined version of an outstanding game series. This features new gameplay, a simplified Cyber-Elf system, new characters, and also recurring characters as well. It also features a weather system, in which can be changed in Normal and Hard modes. Pardon me for not reviewing for days, bunch of Facebook freaks and music nights while my parents and sister play Rummikub.
Plot. Several months have passed since Zero defeated Omega, Dr. Weil has taken over Neo Arcadia and the three guardians of Master X have died in battle. With Neo Arcadia in the grip of Dr. Weil, human citizens have been fleeing in greater numbers with the help of the Resistance, and head to the last livable location on Earth, Area Zero. But Dr. Weil plans to use the Ragnarok, to crash it into Area Zero, in order to prevent humans from escaping so that he can rule over all. But this time, Zero will put an end to it.
Introducing to the game is the Z-Knuckle, in which Zero can punch enemies with greater physical force, and can also steal abilities from them. Players can change the weather only in Normal and Hard difficulties, making it a lot easier to obtain an EX Skill, since you cannot in Easy Mode.
Concept. Zero continues his quest to help the Resistance defeat the forces of Dr. Weil after the third game. The game is comprised of a prologue stage, which is Area Zero, where the Space Colony Eurasia crashed in the events of Mega Man X5. After the prologue stage, players fight against eight bosses. After that Zero fights six bosses in the Ragnarok, except that Craft is fought twice. After that they must face the eight bosses again before the final showdown against Dr. Weil.
Design. The designs remain the same as the three games, and it also continues to have voice acting before boss fights, scenario sequences, etc. It is a great game, and a stunning conclusion to the Mega Man Zero series.
Rantings. What bothers me of this game is that on Easy Mode you cannot obtain an EX Skill because you cannot change the weather. Also, the stage I hated was the Sol Titanion stage because of the extreme heated parts, because if you get into the heat, the temperature will rise and damage Zero. The mini-boss of Sol Titanion stage, is one of the most excruciating mini-bosses ever fought in this game.
Good Aspects. The music has improved very much, especially that of the boss fights. The boss fight theme of this game is very intense, making the boss fight a roller coaster ride. Dr. Weil continues to be as mad as he was in the third game, but at least you know that good always triumphs.
Overall. This game is the epic conclusion to the series, and you can play it on either the GBA or on the Nintendo DS with the Mega Man Zero Collection game. This game gets an 8 out of 10.
