Gameplay: Player 1 controls the character Popo (a boy dressed in a blue Eskimo parka) while second players control Nana (a girl dressed in a pink Eskimo parka). Their adventure is to climb ice covered mountains to recover their vegetables from a giant condor. And they also have to make openings on the ice layer above to club enemies such as polar bears, Nitpickers and Topis. When players are about to make it to the top, they enter bonus stages in which they have 40 seconds to recover their vegetables and get that condor who has stolen them.
Music: I could say that the theme of the Ice Climbers was good to listen to and also the theme of climbing the mountain. In which the song is remade with their appearance in Super Smash Bros. Melee
Rantings. What problems I have with this game? Well, I was a little bit appalled that there was no storyline because it's only a game about who makes it to the top of the mountain. Another problem I have is with the Nitpickers, they always annoyed me. Any flying enemy in the days of the NES would test your skills, make you cry, break your controllers, and unleash your inner Mike Tyson or Bruce Lee against the wall.
Good Aspect. The good thing about this game is that you can enjoy hours of fun, playing with either a friend or a family member. The game has become a cult classic among video game veterans.
Overall. The game has replay value, and it is a classical title to enjoy playing with friends and family. You can download it on the Wii Shop Channel for 500 Wii Points. This game gets a 8 out of 10
