Plot. The plot of the game follows the same one of the movie. After accidentally being left behind by his family, 8 year old Kevin McAllister learns for the first time what it's like to be independent in the house. But then, two burglars named Harry Lime and Marv Merchants, have their eyes on Kevin's house, believing that they have all kinds of highly prized possessions: stereos, VCR's, jewels, and according to Marv, toys. It's up to Kevin to defend his home from the two inept thieves.
Rantings. As I said, I really don't like this game that much because, it has so many things that bother and annoy me very much. For example, when you are caught by the Wet Bandits, you lose a life. Also, why is Kevin hurt by his own traps, I mean this is such a cop out. One of my most hated enemies besides Harry and Marv, are the ones that throw their hats at Kevin.
Good Aspects. The game's design looks good, even if this game had potential it failed miserably.
Overall. Home Alone is not that good, and the sequel is a lot worse. I give this game a 4 out of 10
