Plot. The story takes place during a futuristic time. Squall Leonhart is the taciturn and reluctant hero of the game, he leads a group of young cadets from Balamb Garden against the Galbadian forces and also an evil sorceress. However, the beautiful Rinoa Heartilly gives Squall a change of heart during her journey with him, however she was acquainted and involved with Seifer Almasy, Squall's rival. What goes in this quest, goes beyond a wild imagination. The story of this game is unique.
This game was originally released in Japan in February of 1999, the hit game made it to America on September 9th, 1999. Final Fantasy VIII had a unique storyline based on the theme of love, war and a good definition of the character's storylines. This was my second Final Fantasy game that I played, and it was exciting and breathtaking with the environment, music, action and so on. Final Fantasy VIII featured even more improved graphics since FF7. It also featured even more FMV sequences, and a new story set on love, trials, and so on. Now I will begin to tell about some of the things about this game in my review.

Originally released in Japan in January 31st, 1997, this ultimate classic arrived on American shores in September 7, 1997. This was my first Final Fantasy game, and I have fallen in love with the series at first sight. I consider this to be the best Final Fantasy game of all time, and my most loved game. To me, this game has the best environment, storyline and best characters. Final Fantasy VII brought new changes such as 3D graphics, CGI sequences, enhanced music, and improved gameplay. Plot. The story begins in Midgar, where a resistance force known as Avalanche sets out to destroy the reactors of Midgar, in which is sucking the energy life source, known as Mako. Accompanying them is Cloud Strife, a man with a mysterious past, and also Barret Wallace, a gruff leader of Avalanche. Soon Cloud encounters old friends and new friends such as Yuffie, Aeris, Cid, Vincent, Cait Sith and Red XIII. What begun as the ShinRa corporation trying to tighten its grip on the world, they at first tried to destroy it, however, something much bigger is also trying to destroy the world, a man named Sephiroth, who has a past feud with Cloud. Soon more mysteries are unfolded Final Fantasy VI was originally released in Japan in the Spring of 1994, only to come on American shores in October of 1994 for the SNES. In that console, the game was known to American players as Final Fantasy III, but then it retained its original number when it was re-released for the Playstation as Final Fantasy Anthology in 1999. Then it was re-relased for the Game Boy Advance in 2007. This is considered to be one of the best in the series before the greatness of Final Fantasy VII. This was the last Final Fantasy game to be released on the Nintendo's SNES or Super Famicom in Japan. Story 10/10. The story begins with the prologue that talks about the War of the Magi that took place thousands of years, but then technology reigned supreme after then. Shortly thereafter, the Gestahlian Empire has been making machinations of their own in which they would use technology to revive magic and use mobile weapons known as Magi-Tek Armor. A young woman known as Terra, whose past is shrouded in mystery, is being controlled by the Empire until she encounters an Esper that awakens her inner powers. Soon she meets new allies and then begins her fight against the Empire who is bent on conquering the world. However, one of the Empire's most trusted men, Kefka Palazzo has plans of his own. Originally released in Japan on December 2, 1992 for the Super Famicom. The game was released worldwide in September 30th, 1999 with Final Fantasy VI as Final Fantasy Anthology. Then released in November 2006 for the Game Boy Advance. Final Fantasy V is not considered the best, since it was met with mixed reviews by fans, because it followed some of the same concepts of Final Fantasy I and Final Fantasy III. The Super Famicom version has a fan translated version on emulator roms. Plot. A long time ago, the Warriors of Light sealed an evil being known as Exdeath, who wanted to return everything to the Void, a dimension where time and space do not exist, only infinite darkness. Then many years later, a traveler named Bartz sees a meteor falling near Castle Tycoon, he saves Princess Lenna and encounters an old man named Galuf. The three of them go together to the Wind Temple to help Lenna's father, who's been missing since he went there and the crystal of wind broke. They meet a pirate named Faris, a character with a mysterious past, and a distant relative of Lenna. The four embark on a journey to prevent the crystals from breaking, releasing the seal in which Exdeath is in, who plots to return the world into a dark dimension of nothingness, known as "The Void" Originally relased in Japan for the Super Famicom in Spring of 1991, and in the SNES in the fall of the same year . This title in America when it came out for the SNES was known as Final Fantasy II, but then in the Playstation players would know that it is Final Fantasy IV when it came out with Chrono Trigger as Final Fantasy Chronicles. This game is considered to be the best Final Fantasy by many fans out there and it has a remake for the DS along with Final Fantasy III for the DS. I remember how my eyes were stuck to this game for days, because of the kind of environment it had. This marks my review for September, with the summer coming to an end and the school year upon us. Plot. The story revolves around a Dark Knight named Cecil Harvey, who is captain of the powerful Red Wings of Baron, who returns to his kingdom after a raid for the Water Crystal in Mysidia. When he returns he questions the King's motives, and then, the King in an angry expression relieves Cecil of his command and sends him on another mission with his best friend Kain. Accompanied by more allies such as Rydia, Cid, Rosa, Edge, Tellah and others; they will be in a perilous adventure full of action, redemption, love, betrayal and other different mysteries that are yet to be discovered. |
