This act of evil and cowardice were made by an enemy who wants to dehumanize us, destroy us all, and make us live in fear. But that enemy has failed to achieve such objective. They say that what does not kill you, makes you stronger. And that is true. I'm truly glad that Bin Laden got his punishment and so did his army of cowards such as the Taliban and Al Qaeda zealots. These fanatics will know that they failed to kill the spirit of America.
I'm a New Yorker, and my hometown is one of the world's greatest cities. I'm very proud of America's troops, who continue to defend and fight for our freedom. Terrorists are less than human, and they must be punished. But my advice is; although the perpetrators were of Middle Eastern origin, do NOT take it out on the innocent Arabs. Because the people that did this are not followers of Islam, but inhuman fanatics and extremists. But we will send these terrorists a message, and also to their sympathizers in the world: You CANNOT destroy this country, and you cannot make us live in fear. This is America, and we are not afraid of your cowardice.
On that day, we saw the end of innocence in America. But in our darkest days, we united to fight against an enemy to preserve our freedoms. Starting all the way back in the Revolutionary War, were we freed ourselves from the boots, whims, and heels of tyranny. This is America, and we fight for our right to live, to exist, and for our freedom.
Thank you all, and God bless America.
